During summer months, we invite local businesses, and individuals within our community to show up with their appetite and favorite meal, desert, or drink in hand. Do you have a restaurant? A catering business? A personal chef? or just enjoy cooking? Get ready to share your recipe as a cookbook will be available for purchase containing each potluck participant's unique contribution.
Our goal is to promote cultural diversity in the Baton Rouge area as we will recognize and highlight each diversely themed food section, and it's contributors.
This event will highlight the impact TCPSF is making in the community, "community leader" guest speakers will be present, raffle prizes, and recognition will be given to TCPSF families and partners. All proceeds will help TCPSF provide "no-cost" Therapeutic Cleanings to the elderly who may be at risk of Diogenes Syndrome.
1. Potluck Admission: $29 discounted entry for bringing a dish that fit the category of "Seafood" "Jamaican" "Vegan" "Mexican" "Caribbean" "Southern-Style" "Leisure" "BBQ" "Deserts" "Wines" "Speciality Drinks" "Cock-Tails" and "fun-sized" servings must be able to accommodate up to 100 people.
2. General Admission: $49 entry to "Taste of Baton Rouge"
3. Vip Admission: $79 to "Taste of Baton Rouge" , Taste Of BR Cookbook , Priority Food Selection & Seating.
Each October we will start collecting in-kind resources to ensure adequate resources for beneficiaries when the coldest temperatures hit in December and January. In addition to jackets, hats, and gloves donors can contribute $5 or more to help an elder in need.
